THE MANIFESTO ROOM

Hercole’s manifesto is a system of ideas consisting of 11 sentences, a trigger for analysis, insight, confrontation and debate. Each idea is a stance, a provocation proposed for discussion. The phrases of the manifesto are also the classification categories of the archive, an aggregation of projects in dialogue with each other. Hercole’s manifesto is not final, nor immutable, it is an open and co-participated letter.

For the Open Call you can propose free variants of hercole’s manifesto, representing it in part or in its entirety, creating a poster of our manifesto.

Objectives

1. Activate the author's and user's critical, reactive, and creative thinking.

2. Work to understand our concerns and needs, the questions we ask ourselves, what we think, and where we would like to go.

3. Establish a relationship between the author's work and that of others. Contribute to generating a body of work:

FREE: Composed of works that move along paths that are neither predetermined nor controlled to achieve unexpected outcomes
HETEROGENEOUS: Whose works are not skimmed by any ideology, thesis or orientation. All opinions are debatable.
SHARED: In which works arise to speak and relate to other works and systems of ideas.
BRAVE: Unafraid to explicitly explode society's contradictions, inconsistencies, and narrative gaps. Also, speak about what makes us uncomfortable.

4) Participate in the creation of a collective event that fosters connections not only between works but between people as well.

5) To seek an overall vision of reality, which is not an accumulation of sterile and depressing informational data but the beginning of cultural and projective elaboration.

6) Feed hercole's collective digital archive by producing and disseminating projects that challange and question the current development model.

Adults of any age, both individuals and groups.

How much does it cost?

Participation in the Open Call is free of charge.

What do we offer?

1. Exhibition of the poster in the collective exhibition "La stanza dei manifesti" at Spazio Sfera in Bussero during the MADNESS FESTIVAL on June 15th and 16th.

2. Publication of the poster on the hercole’s website.

3.Production and distribution of the poster through hercole’s shop (for selected works only).
